By proceeding to use HimStrong, you confirm that you understand and agree to receive healthcare services through digital communication channels.

2. Nature of Telehealth Services

Telehealth refers to the provision of healthcare services without physical, in-person contact, using digital tools such as mobile devices or computers.

Through HimStrong, you may access services including:

  • Online medical consultations (chat, voice, or video)
  • Review of your symptoms and health history
  • Clinical advice and treatment recommendations
  • Prescription facilitation (where legally permitted)

HimStrong does not directly provide medical treatment. All clinical services are delivered by independent, licensed healthcare practitioners.

5. Emergency Situations

HimStrong is not designed for emergencies.

If you experience urgent symptoms such as:

  • Severe chest pain
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Signs of stroke or severe allergic reaction

You must immediately:

  • Call emergency services in Kenya (999 or 112)
  • Visit the nearest hospital

Delays caused by relying on telehealth instead of emergency care are not the responsibility of HimStrong.

6. Your Rights as a User

When using our platform, you are entitled to:

  • Clear information about the healthcare provider attending to you
  • Access to your health records where applicable
  • Confidential handling of your personal and medical data
  • The option to discontinue telehealth services at any time
  • The ability to seek alternative or in-person medical care

7. Your Responsibilities

To ensure safe and effective care, you agree to:

  • Trained or experienced in remote consultation delivery

HimStrong acts only as a technology platform facilitating access to these providers.

9. Data Use and Privacy

Your personal and health information will be collected, used, and stored in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

Your information may be shared:

  • With the healthcare professional handling your case
  • With pharmacies or laboratories when necessary
  • Where required by law

10. Payments and Charges

Fees for consultations and related services will be clearly displayed before you proceed.

By confirming a consultation, you agree to the applicable charges as outlined on the platform.

  • The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) Guidelines

12. Voluntary Consent and Withdrawal

Your use of HimStrong is entirely voluntary.

You may stop using telehealth services at any time by:

  • Ending your consultation session
  • Contacting our support team
  • Closing your account

Stopping use does not affect services already provided or records maintained as required by law.

13. Confirmation of Understanding

By continuing to use HimStrong, you confirm that:

  • You understand how telehealth services work
  • You are aware of the potential benefits and limitations
  • You agree to receive care through digital means
  • You understand that this is not a replacement for emergency care
